Aspera MC is a hand-built survival world, coded and run by a small team on our own self-hosted hardware. Aspera is not run for profit. Every rank and donation goes back into the server: keeping it running (power, domain and upkeep), paying for premium plugins and features, and paying for staff or repairs when they're needed.

Ranks add convenience and flair, never power over other players. The best gear in Aspera is still earned in the world.

The Lanterns of Aspera Bay

Every month of upkeep that players cover lights a lantern over Aspera Bay. The tracker on our site updates every hour and shows how far ahead players have carried the server, counted in months of runtime.

After your first purchase, the lanterns become yours. Type your Minecraft name into the Upgrade or buy a rank box at asperamc.com/#store and the banner shows your exact contribution: how many months of runtime your support has paid for, lit as your own row of lanterns.

Want to add a lantern or two? Every rank and upgrade adds to your row.

Aspera isn't going anywhere. If the lanterns ever run out, the server stays online. They just show how far ahead you've carried us.

• Already own a rank? You only pay the difference to upgrade.
• Delivered in game, usually within a minute of checkout.
• Premium town plots: every rank lets you buy plots with /plotpass using gold you earn in game (1000g each, up to 10 to 100 depending on rank).
